Well, I created my player, and beat Be a Legend mode. And I know that you can edit the dunks that your created player does. And I wanted to make one of his dunks "The Hawk", but when I go to do so, it says that the dunk is locked. How do I unlock this dunk. I think it is related to Connie Hawkins, but I already unlocked him, and the dunk is still locked. And the price is 0, so I can't buy it or anything, I just can't use it. NBA STREET V3 introduces an entire new game mode in the form of the Dunk Contest, which contains its very own set of controls. While the controls are unique, they are similar enough to regular trick controls for you to maintain a comfortable sense of familiarity. It works like this: You perform tricks while you're in the air, so as you jump to perform your dunk, you perform trick moves like you normally would by pressing the turbo buttons and different directions with the Right Thumbstick. The tricks are all different, though, since they're all midair dunk tricks, so you'll find yourself rolling the ball down one arm to the next, slipping it between the legs, passing it around your back, etc. Just as important as the tricks themselves is the variety with which you perform them. If you pass it around your back three times and dunk, you won't get much in the way of creativity points, which are necessary for high scores.
Aside from the in-air antics, you can also pass the ball to yourself in creative ways (e.g. bounce it off the backboard, bounce it high in the air between your legs, toss it up high towards the rim, etc.), and these are performed by pressing any of the turbo buttons and the A button. The trick with the self-pass is grabbing it in midair (you need to press the B button to go get the ball and start your dunk).

If that's not enough, you can also place props in front of you (e.g. a table) to jump over, and you can combine the props with a self-pass that leads to the dunk. Imagine throwing the ball high into the air, and then jumping over a prop to grab the ball, and then finally starting your dunk tricks before slamming the ball home. Also of note is that the Gamebreakers in-game have now been changed to reflect the new Dunk Contest mechanics. When you perform a Gamebreaker, it's up to you to create the craziest dunk possible just like in the Dunk Contest (sans the props and self-passing, though the Gamebreaker does include possible alley-oop opportunities as your teammates launch themselves around/above you). The better the dunk, the more possible points you can score, so a well-executed Gamebreaker dunk can really swing the game back in your direction or further distance yourself from the competition, while a busted Gamebreaker (you can easily miss the dunk by getting too trick-happy) is a huge lost opportunity.
Again, it's not so much how many new tricks there are, though you're likely to see all sorts of things you haven't seen in either of the two previous STREET games, but it's more how the trick system itself has been changed to further engross you in the game. Tricks are not only easy to perform now, but they're more plentiful and more original (especially with personalized names), while the special tricks in the Dunk Contests and Gamebreakers add a whole new level to master and appreciate. Now go get to it!

The game will start in progress, with over 40% completion, 201,000 Hero points, with Swing Speed and Web Zip upgrades, and "Big Game Hunter", "Alien Buster", "Shock Absorber", and "Tentacle Wrangler" ranks. Additionally, this code has another effect when used with an existing game. Load your saved game, select "New Game", then enter "HCRAYERT" as a name. The game will not allow you to enter it, but when you exit out of that screen, you will get 201,000 Hero points, all skills cleared, be at the "First Day Of The Rest Of Your Life", but will still have your token collection and other progress points intact. Movie Theatre
After Doc Ock is defeated and the credits finish rolling, Chapter 16 will start and the Movie Theatre can now be bought at the Upgrade Store. The Movie Theatre upgrade costs 1,000 Hero Points. After you purchase it, swing over to the movie theatre and activate the Change icon to choose from Activision Logo, Treyarch Logo, the Credits, and 3 demo videos. The location of the "Viceroy Cinema 8" movie theater is marked on the map by an icon of a movie projector. It is in the southern portion of the main island, in the middle between Greenwich Village and East Village. The movie theater is northeast of Mary Jane's apartment in SoHo (the house icon with the letters "MJ" on it).
Fight Arena
After Doc Ock is defeated and the credits finish rolling, Chapter 16 will start and the Fight Arena can now be bought at the Upgrade Store. The Fight Arena upgrade costs 5,000 Hero Points. After you purchase it, swing over to the Shocker Warehouse near the Lower East Side. Enter the warehouse through the large bay doors. Go to the main room where the first battle with Shocker took place. Access the marker to start the fight. At first, only "Timed Rounds" is available, but playing it to Round 3 unlocks the Endurance Rounds option. Completing Round 3 unlocks the Boss Rounds option. The Boss Rounds includes the various villains from the game with thugs

Arcade mini-games
There are four mini-games at the Arcade: Dodge Hall, Directional Attack, Web Attack, Air Combo. Enter the Arcade, then go to the back of the room. Press Square to activate the marker to start the Dodge Hall mini-game. Complete round 3 to unlock the Directional Attack mini-game (which is more of a tutorial). In the Directional Attack mini-game, follow it as instructed to unlock the Web Attack mini-game. This is also basically just a tutorial. In the Web Attack mini-game, follow it as instructed to unlock the Air Combo mini-game.
Reaching the arcade
Go to Han's Pizzeria (the pizza icon on the map). Stand facing the front door and the neon sign (so that you see Spider-Man's back). Turn to your left and go down the street past the blue star icon for Race 95 and continue pst the first intersection. Go to the second intersection at the end of the grassy area (across the street is the blue star icon for Race 96). Stay on the side with the grassy area, and turn left. Go down the sidewalk with the grassy area on your left until you reach the T-shaped intersection. Cross the street and continue going straight, past the white/gray awnings. On your left side is an alley. In that alley is a storefront with green-trimmed windows. Go into this alley and you will reach the entrance to the Arcade. Above the Arcade door is a sign depicting an old Atari-style controller. Note: The Arcade is a location used at the very beginning of the game during the tutorial narrated by Bruce Campbell.
Getting upgrades
When you are in need of more moves, fly around the city and look for buildings with a web-like top on them. Sometimes the buildings will be very small and are white, which may make the web almost invisible. There are also different color webs, which will make the web more visible on your map in the lower right side of the screen. Inside of one of those stores, you will see a gold spinning decal which you should "open up". This will bring you to the upgrade screen, where you can spend your Hero Points to get other attacks and much more.
Easier Completion of timed missions
Purchase the level 8 upgrade to your Swing Speed (after completing Chapter 16) before doing the Pizza Deliveries, Mary Jane, and Daily Bugle Photo missions. The first few missions are easy, but they will get progressively more difficult as you will have to go farther with less time available. Having your Swing Speed fully upgraded to level 8 will make them easier, although the final missions will still be a challenge.
Easy Skyscraper Tokens
Go to the map of the city and look very closely at the buildings. You will see little gold dots on top of the buildings. They represent the token locations
Easy Hideout Tokens
On your map in the lower right hand corner, locate all the buildings with a pink top. This is where you can enter and get your goodies. Some are a little difficult to find -- be alert.
Easy Hero Points
In the street crime mission where you must fight off thugs stealing money from the armored van, untie the officers that are kneeling next to the van by using Action. You will earn an additional 50 Hero Points for each officer you untie. However, make sure you untie them before you get too far away and the game removes their presence.
Fill Style meter faster
Using the "Spider Reflexes" ability drains your Style meter (the blue bar). You can refill the Style meter by performing the Air Tricks combos, but they will only add a little bit to the blue bar each time. To fill the Style meter faster, avoid hitting buildings while you are swinging around and doing the Air Tricks. The more Air Tricks you string together without bumping into buildings, the faster your meter will be refilled. When you bump into a building while swinging, it stops the Style meter from being refilled and you have to start another string of Air Tricks. If you are going too fast and cannot avoid slamming into a building, try going into a Wall Sprint just as you make contact with the wall, then leap off the wall into a swing. If done correctly, you will not break your Air Tricks combo.

its a mixup betwen the shoulder buttons,and the x,and y buttons. but before i go any further let me tell you i aint got a 360. i just played the game over a cousins house.
tapping the face butons will control the speed and movement of the ball. then you can tap, hold and also something else with the buton (between the hold and tap timeing) to do all kinds of trick movements. but if you were to look up other things on google you will see that with the shoulder buttons u can mix up the tricks. there is no actua built in combos its sorta like a freestyle rap. go off the mind.
thats all i can really tell u. me and my bro are saving up for a 360 and this game. please tell me how the create a player works out.

First get a young energetic back-up for Shaq, play the backup early and often, make sure he can run and defend. This year the Heat looked tired and the offence was stale. Get Shaq maximum shots in minimum minutes or let him rest a little keeping him on the weak-side in position for offensive rebounds. Try to keep him fresh never play him when he is fatigued. Do what is needed to get personel who can run and defend when Shaq is out. Must be able to adjust tempo according to opponent and situation, they had big problems last year with that, most of those vets looked like old dogs who couldent learn new tricks. Generally go younger. I think Wade needs to take more jumpers to give himself a chance to get hot from the outside, he has a great stroke and can shoot over anybody(he will last longer and have more in the tank come playoff time), Haslem and Shaq can hit the O-boards. Time to quit thinking about building around Shaq, get help for Wade, players who can keep up.

Stay Healthy Stay Strong Shaq and Zo aren't old, they can Help Dwayne Wade to win another title.
they need shaq to be younger jst like his glory days in LA. and all their veterans, they need to be younger even for jst 5 yrs.
Primarily, they need to stay healthy. Yahoo! Sports just reported they lost Jason Kapono to Toronto, but James Posey and Daequan Cook should be able to replace his one-dimensional game. Wade got hurt last year, then Shaq, and even Pat Riley missed games because of hip surgery. Shaq has been working hard all summer and looks to be back in form, and Wade has been recovering well from shoulder and ankle surgery. Expect the Heat to compete in the East as long as they stay healthy. As long as they have Shaq and Wade, they can compete with the West's best teams.

DISCLAIMER : I'm a disgruntled MAvs fan and may be a bit biased.
Well other than retaining payton and haslem they need to bring in some youth. I think the team has great players that can mentor the youngsters in to good players. They also need to look at what will they do after shaq is gone and his skill deminishes......... Wade and his arm are another point of interest, he MUST get rest and condition his shoulder to its peak.
Lastly they need to make sure they get all the help from the ref and get all the non exsistant calls to screw other teams. A soft/pansy team like the 06 mavs in the finals would help too.

No, I know for sure they are only releasing it for PS3 and XBOX 360. You might just have to break down and buy a PS3, I held out until this month, then finally said screw it because Game Stop was running a deal for $100 trade in on my PS2, I knew it was only going to be worth about $20 in another month, so I went and traded it in.

No, it will not. Last night's loss suffered by the Patriots at the hands of the Giants in the Super Bowl ruins the chances of Boston running the table in the three sports you mentioned.
Further, I wouldn't be so sure the Celtics will pull it off. Sure, it's much easier to win in the NBA when you add the right piece or two as Boston has done. But there was a lesson in last night's Patriots loss: don't count your chickens before they hatch. If the 18-0 Pats who were all but handed the Lombardi Trophy by pundits and 'experts' alike before the game even began can lose, so too can a relatively weaker Celtics team. And by that I mean that the Celtics aren't to the NBA what the Pats were to the NFL. They've been good. But not as dominant as the Pats.
I'm sorry to see a purported Boston sports fan neglect to even mention the Bruins. You may not know this, but they are one of the 'Original Six' teams in the NHL. They have a long history as storied and rich with characters as any other Boston sports franchise. Having been around since 1924 and showcasing talent such as Bobby Orr, they deserve a nod. Then again, they're not doing too well this year. And it's not terribly surprising. The Atlantic Division is tough. The Flyers are showing consistent brilliance in execution. They'll take the Division and help to force the Bruins out of the playoffs.
On a some what related note, I always pushed for the Boston sports teams to prevail. They were the perennial underdogs the rest of the country could get behind. But in how Boston fans have handled the Pats season, they're starting to resemble the worst of the worst: Yankees fans. And this question stinks of that same pin striped arrogance 92.9% of the sporting nation hates.

When the MLB (Major League Baseball) and NBA (National Basketball Association) started, the United States was the only place where athletes in these two sports competed professionally. Years later, other countries started having professional teams as well, but these two leagues have not changed their name nor the name of their final series due to Trademark laws, etc.
Side note, back then (and even still today), the best athletes in the world competed in the United States leagues because the pay is so good. The best baseball player right now (Pujols) is not for the USA. The tallest person in the NBA (Ming) isn't from the USA either. Because of this, when the Olympics come, these athletes a lot of times choose to play for their home nation, even though they are in the NBA or MLB. So, when we call ourselves "world champs" and its a "world series", its not arrogance or self centered, or even ignorance, its fact.
It's just talk...marketing...nothing political or arrogant. The USA basketball team is no longer a "Dream Team". Many of the best don't play. The first was the Dream Team because of the amazing collection of all-time greats. Now, the USA team wouldn't even be a good NBA team.

Have you watched these events? Come on the World Series is just that where all the players come from all over to play it is the ultimate achievement. It's not just a title it is a world championship. Look at the list of players on any team and you will see why. Same goes for the NBA look at the rosters and you see that in National Basketball Association has more forgin players on it. The Spurs will repeat in the 07-08 season and settle the debate of whether or not they are truly a dynasty. This series will go at least 5 games, but they will once again defeat the opponent in a demoralizing fashion. Choosing the eastern conference opponent is almost impossible; however, I am predicting that the Pistons may not even make it to the eastern conference finals following a huge upset.

I know MANY people will disagree, but I think next season will be the Spurs' first repeat.
They are the team that needs the least change after last season. They've already re-signed Jacques Vaughn and Matt Bonner, picked up a few good players in the draft, and just picked up another back-up guard from the Rockets(Spanoulis). None of these players are gonna be impact players, but they are all good role-players to an already solid core of Duncan, Parker, Ginobili, and Bowen.
The other teams in the league seem to be scrambling around trying to make trades and swap players to find that perfect combination to try and topple San Antonio, but when it comes down to the playoffs, the Spurs will have experience on their side as well as the familiarity of having already been there with practically the same team.
The only team I can see knocking off the Spurs is Dallas. But the Spurs team that Dallas knocked off 2 years ago was not as healthy, confident, or determined as this one. One must also factor in Dirk Nowitzki's LEGENDARY status as one of the leagues worst chokers.
I think they will end up with Chicago in the Finals, taking them down in 6 games.

I think the Suns will win it this year, I think they will face the Bulls and it will be a long series but the Suns will win in 6. I think if Amare Stoudamire and Boris Diaw didn't come off the bench in that decisive game 5 the Suns would have won that game, series, and eventually the NBA Finals. Steve Nash's chances at a NBA Championship are decreasing, and I think a great player like him should win the Finals.

When I lived in Chicago, Jordan would on rare occasion show up in the park. I wasn't present at the time but I remember seeing a newsclip of him being dunked on by an obviously very good but unrecognized average Joe. But Jordan returned the favor on the next 6 plays in a row, winning the game.
